Mr. Bunn’s practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate and general business law, including commercial leasing, condominium and rental housing development, business and real estate acquisitions and sales and ecclesiastical organizations.

Education
Mr. Bunn received his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in 1990 and a Juris Doctor from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii, in 1994. While in law school, Mr. Bunn was a member of the award winning Jessup International Law Moot Court Team which ranked first in the United States and second in the world.

Professional Activities
* Professional Affiliations – Mr. Bunn is currently a member of the executive committee of Chun, Kerr, Dodd, Beaman & Wong and served as the firm’s managing partner in 2008 and 2009. He is a past Chair of the Real Property and Financial Services Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association, is the Honolulu representative to the American Counsel Association, and serves on the executive committee of the Association of Conference Attorneys of the United Church of Christ. Mr. Bunn also served as a member of the Blue Ribbon Committee on Condominium Recodification for the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs from 2004 to 2007, was the treasurer of the International Law Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association from 1994 to 2000, and has been a speaker on leasing matters in Hawaii for the International Council of Shopping Centers and church legal issues for the United Church of Christ.

* Volunteer Organizations – Mr. Bunn is currently on the Board of Directors of the Punahou Alumni Association and is on the Board of Governors and serves as secretary of the Pacific Club. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Honolulu Chamber Music Series from 1997 to 2005, serving as that organization’s President for its 2000-2001 Season.

* Prior Employment – Prior to his entry into law school, Mr. Bunn worked in Washington, D.C., with the German Marshall Fund of the United States, a foundation devoted to improving U.S. – European relations and public policy. Mr. Bunn has also been a professional violinist.
