Education
Ms. Miyasato received a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 1996 with a major in Japanese and a minor in Economics. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 2000. Ms. Miyasato also received a Pacific Asian Legal Studies Certificate for her studies concentrating on Pacific-Asian legal issues while in law school. She was a member of the 1998-1999 University of Hawaii Law Review, where she authored the casenote, “Re-Evaluating the Limits of the Full Faith and Credit Clause After Baker vs. General Motors Corporation,” 21 U. Haw. L. Rev. 747 (1999). Ms. Miyasato also acted as co-Production Editor of the 1999-2000 edition of the University of Hawaii Law Review.
