Education
Ms. Lopez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 1985. She received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 2001. Ms. Lopez was a member of the University of Hawaii Law Review (1999-2000) and served as Co-Editor in Chief (2000-2001). Ms. Lopez served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paula A. Nakayama, Associate Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court from 2001-2002.

Professional Activities
* Prior to Law School, Ms. Lopez owned her own occupational health consulting business.

Memberships
From 2001 to the present Ms. Lopez has been a member of Hawaii Women Lawyers, serving on its Board of Directors from 2001-2002. Ms. Lopez is also a member of the Hawaii State and the American Bar Associations.
