Areas of Practice
Since 1984, Mr. Colombe has practiced exclusively in the area of commercial and real estate litigation, including eminent domain, commercial landlord-tenant, complex foreclosure, and corporate, securities and employment litigation. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants and his practice is evenly split between state and federal courts.

Mr. Colombe received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley in 1981 and earned a Juris Doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California in 1984. At Boalt Hall, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and was an Associate Editor of the California Law Review.

Professional Activities
* Seminar Speaker – Mr. Colombe frequently speaks on real estate litigation issues at seminars and is co-author of the National Business Institute’s manual on “Residential and Commercial Eviction in Hawaii”.

* Peer Recognition – Mr. Colombe has been awarded the “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory.

* Community Organizations – State of Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission, Blue Ribbon Recodification Committee, 2007-08. Le Jardin Academy Board of Trustees, 2000-present. Windward Soccer Club, Board of Directors and Secretary, 2005-present. Kailua Neighborhood Board, 2002-03.
